What say ye merry gentlefolk; black or chrome grill surround FTW?

Update: so at the close of voting it seems all black is the popular choice, closely followed albeit by chrome. Interesting.

Personally, I went all black and think it looks ace, but Smelf36's Christmas goodies thread seems to suggest that the camp is split.

I think black looks good/modern with all colours and chrome can be limited perhaps.....

black and chrome looks classy.
plain black can look good on dark colours.
 
Chrome on silver/white cars.
All black or chrome/black on dark ones.
Definitely depends on the car colour imo.

Modern? Aren't 'black editions' just a ploy to get rid of old tat. A bit 2014. My black wheels are going the minute the nicer weather comes in May. We'll all be sticking Nurburgring and VXR on our Z's next. More :fuelfire: :fuelfire:

No that's what I have and think it looks good on my Silver Z.

I like the complete black grills on Black or Red
 
I have a Interlagos blue ZMC: black and chrome are a touch more elegant; the fully black ones are meaner;

prefer black and chrome

This is almost a follow-on from my poll about grey or black slats!

I went with black slats and chrome surround in the end, mainly because I think it looks better on a blue Z4 than black would - so I voted Chrome!

But I can see that appeal of all black on darker colours.
 
Gloss black for me. Has a bit of “zing” compared to matt or satin (which are easy to achieve by not cleaning it!).
