Buy it, try it and if you don't like the effect, spray it Merlot. If you decide to sell it will be easy to pass on.

do it!!! i love the bicolour look... the pics dont really do it justice but in the flesh it looks stunning.... i hear nothing but "wow" that looks awesome from people..... mine will never be painted silver.

remember the hoods black anyway.... it has to at least look ok.

I wouldnt have a hardtop ........ we get some lovely days during the winter when putting the roof down is a must ( IMPO)

I'd have OEM, but for the reasons you state I would have to spend another £300 on a garage roof mounted pulley like Ranski - on or off in less than 5 mins, no additional manpower required

This is true and it should look fine, but for some reason I just can't get on with the look. No idea why :idunno:

I made a hoist using an Aldi electric winch with remote control. Lifts roof to garage ceiling in a few seconds.
Cost me about £40.

Check the weather and if nice up and off goes the roof in <5 mins.

Go for it - something to make your Zed distinctive - I think it'll look great and if others don't you still have a distinctive and different Zed. Great idea. (Mind I would listen to the advice about removing it in winter as there is nothing finer than enjoying the crisp mornings with the roof removed and a good scarf and hat on - brilliant).
