Hi

Has anybody done this? Polished the headlamps from slightly roughened in some places and not as clear as they should be.

Here's an ebay search for products:

What is recommended as the best?

cheers
Tony

I recently did this on my old Honda CR-V which had very bad fade and rough hazing on both headlights. I used the headlight restoration kit by 3M, available for about £20. The results were amazing!!! Came up like new. May fade again in time but for £20 and a couple of hours work would thoroughly recommend this product.

Someone suggested toothpaste, I gave it a try and it works well on lenses that aren't too far gone, it obviously doesn't come with UV protection but smells nice and minty :D

I've used the turtle wax kit successfully in the past, but as it doesn't use any kind of power tool, it is quite labour intensive.

Hi Wackydo (Tony)

The 3M kit has always worked for me. I've bought and used 3 on various cars so far.
All you need in one pack and simple to follow instructions. £19.50 on ebay when I bought one in Feb this year.
