Poker night

No not an instruction to get foxy with the laydee...

Just curious if anyone plays, we have a village dad's game one or two Friday nights a month, £5 buy in, 10 players tonight, £50 pot before any re-buy ins so could be a £70-80pot, only been playing a year and really enjoy it, won the game once and got third in the leader table last year, however I'm struggling with bluffing, If I do it I seem to blow the hand as the players left always seem to have a hand, meaning not many others seem to bluff, and I bluff with one pair or nothing, so I'm struggling with when to bluff and not. If anyone has any experience then I'd appreciate any tips.

Cheers muchly as ever.

In my experience there's no point bluffing when you're playing against people who aren't that good at poker, especially when the buy in isn't huge.

Yes agreed, I was coming to the same conclusion. There are a few very good players, one plays online, but they don't take it very seriously as there's a fair bit of chat and swigging the grape, however a few of us are going to do a splinter group that just want to play seriously, so if any tips then fire away as I'm still quite green.
