After much time & effort, frustration, software downloads and failed burned disks I've finally got fully working speed camera alerts on my Sat Nav with birds eye view.
It's not perfect or indeed as good as my Tomtom (it works on proximity not direction) plus you need to burn a new map DVD every time you want to update the camera locations, but for convenience it's great and I'm actually starting to quite like the BMW nav now.
I'm running o/s v32 with 2009-1 maps.
If anyone fancy's trying it, all the instructions are in the Nav section on www.x5world.com. It is quite complicated and techy to follow and involves having to download and use several bits of software, edit files and burn discs. I work in IT and am reasonably techy but still struggled with some of it. It's worth persevering in the end though
