Pointless thread about heated seats

And we can whiled sockets and spanners to help women with car issues too. Men have loads of uses we are like Swiss arm knives...

Ha ha well I don't like the sight of blood. Or any substance the should be inside your body. I sure as hell couldn't do your job.

You did well last Saturday when you cut your finger changing my strut brace, still feel bad about that..take it its healed up ok? You can get used to seeing blood, I used to nearly faint sometimes as a medical student. Thankfully got over that one.

My blood I am fine I see it all the time. Other people's completely different story. Yeah it's all healed up

I imagine its not easy. I am not sure i want to.

Any way pointless thread over board!!

Women are cold blooded! My gf has it on setting 3 most of the time... And has the water in a bath tub 1 degree below boiling point!

I tend to have my seat setting on 3, for 5 mins then off.

at minus 10 I start it on 3 then ratchet down as the seats warm up to "normal" .....the wifey leaves it on 3 until I turn it down a bit....hers, mines been down for miles by then. (it's a fire hazard thing you know)

Im with mcbeee..
Start on 3, and Im lovin every cozy minute ...
But for those in the Old World ..Albertans are a breed apart when it comes to the cold weather ,,
Like any temp above Minus 10 and some locals will be walking the streets in shirt sleeves.
Strange but true and totally Alberta.

I have to say that I have had heated seats in all my cars now for quite some years and I really wouldn't be without them going forward.

Apart from the summer (!) I use them daily, but do have Raynolds and wear a 850 down jacket all year round - I look like a freak.

It was hilarious last weekend - driving the Zed roof down down jacket on, down hood over my head and seat on 3.

Lovely and toasty :driving:

3 to start and then to 1 as soon as it gets hot, then I just leave it on, wouldn't buy a car without heated seats

Same here  I couldn't buy a car with leather without heated seats & I just use setting 3 most of the time & then when I am too toasty I just switch them off :)

1. Feels like you've wee'd yourself
2. Just about right
3. Roast bum setting

Need to go make another coffee now, and wipe down my phone

I find 1. is usually enough, but use 3. when it's below 0'C with the roof down.

My old SE seats were too hot on 1.!!

You won't notice it. It will be a fraction of a mile per gallon, probably less than having the lights on. Use them if you're cold!
