Just put new plugs in after 40'000 on old ones, had a misfire so bought NGK on flee bay called at garage 97 put in WOW better fuel mpg,at least the puter is saying also pick up and nicer sound on over run. Is it plugs or good fuel or both. after following links on forum pice of cake to do £38 for plugs on flee bay and satification of doing it yourself no ripoff from stealers. :D

When I had my inspection 2 I couldn't believe the difference in sound / smoothness! Had mine changed at 49k and I'm on 53k now, but I've acclimatised to the change now. For £38 worth doing every 20 odd k IMO. Keep her running sweet :)

In my younger years (edit - when cars could be service with some oil and a hammer  ), I changed the plugs every 2 yrs or 20k whichever was later....

I wouldn't want to leave it much longer

Does the service schedule change them every inspection, or just inspection 2 ?

Never had an inspection 1 under my ownership, but I think it's just filters. Inspection 2 is oil, plugs and filters. I think!
