in your professional opinion should I

A) Get Michelin or Dunlop Winter tires?

and

B) I have a set of nice 18x8 rims, should I mount 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 on the rims?

You are both correct since I live in Saint Petersburg, that is close to Helsinki, Finland or Tallin, Estonia. From Helsinki you can get a ferry and in a while find yourself in Rostok, Germany. So I'm not that far away. In it is almost impossible to reach the Pacific coast by car, since it is a one week travel by train and not everywhere you can find tharmac roads.

I got the sense and uderstood what you mean. Russian is all about declensions in that can be tricky for English speakers.
