Please share this scam folks..!

Ok guys and gals you’re a pretty shrewd lot but it doesn’t hurt to pass this on to our loved ones and beyond etc.

A good friend of ours had a phone call saying they were from the track and trace app dept’ and they were going to send out a Covid testing kit based on cases in our area, they ask for your address then lastly for £50 payment for the kit. When questioned they say it cannot be free as the govt’ can’t afford to give kits to everyone by post and can you read the long card number please.

Bastards.... :x As I say it can’t hurt just to mention this to your family can it. Thanks all.

Well said, good to get this shared. There are always folk looking for an angle / way of scamming others, often those vulnerable to making a mistake / believing what they're told by someone in 'authority' . Similar NHS test and trace scams by text/SMS...

Need it to pay for your sex change OP Enuff.......such a sweet phone voice you have...... :poke:

Ah, that's all down to my inexperience using online shopping. Clicked the 'small' box on the leopard print thong.

I heard this a few weeks ago but the amount they were looking for was £200.
I thought that asking for a large amount like that was stupid and nobody would pay that.
Then I thought if they were clever they would say it was only £5 but rob your account for any amount they liked after they had your details.

Scotland Yard has issued a photo of a suspect they want to speak to regarding a phone scamming operation....the man goes by the name of “Macho Martin” Drives a two seater BMW, has very questionable fashion sense and an even more questionable hair style. Anybody with any info ring the yard please.

Looks like your days are numbered Enuff......do the right thing and hand yourself in mate.....
