S swin11 Member Mar 11, 2011 #1 Hi Went to put the roof down today pressing the normal button ... nothing is happening and a amber light is on Had a look in the owners manual and its says the base of the roof is raised??? Any ideas what this means and how to sort it will be much appreciated? Cheers Adam

G gannet Lifer Surrey Mar 11, 2011 #2 sounds like the microswitch which controls whether the car thinks the shelf is up or down... in the boot has either failed or become dislodged There is a thread around somewhere which shows how to locate and test this, do a search.

W wheelie Member Mar 11, 2011 #3 Have you checked the boot? Have you put the corrugated flap up to fit more in the boot perhaps? Did it the other day with mine then realised I'd done the same thing.

S swin11 Member Mar 11, 2011 #4 Thanks for the quick tips.. sorted it all now it was the boot shelf that got raised, not sure how though Either way glad its that rather than the roof motor! Cheers
