Hey Guys I am British Citzen and i have a Vietnamese girlfriend for about 6 months now and I want her to come to England for Christmas. I have a accounts job and i earn enough to have a nice car(z4) and to have some saving, however she doesnt as in Vietnam that is very hard for 21 year old girl to do.

So far the Visa process has been beyond stupid as the website which the Uk Visas and Immigration uses is buggy with limited information and has almost no support just email which is very limited to copy and paste answers. After answering and inputing the correct answers on a very long questionaire and booking and paying for Visa Interview. I gave her the following to prove that she was with me:
Copies of my and my parent's passports (Has my visa stamp from Vietnam proving that I was there)
-Bank statements from me and my parents (showing that we have more than enough funds to support her)
-Proof of Address (which we have at lived at for 21 years)
-Invitation from us (Typed up and hand written saying that I would support her during her trip here)
-Pictures of us together when i was in Vietnam (from this September 2014)
-Six months worth of daily emails and skype calls.

After a successful Interview, it was later rejected due to here not having enough saving in her account.

Now I am just so angry with the home office as this is just plain stupid. I know that they need to make sure that the wrong kind people dont get into the country but come on!

Please someone give me some advice as I really need it.

Thanks everyone

Um.

If this is genuine then it doesn't seem complicated. She can't come under the Family Visit visa because your relationship is <2 years. Use the General Visit visa.

Seems clear enough. The website is a model of clarity, where were you looking?

He's not asking for a visa or a sponsor, he's asking for advice. Post history is sparse but not untoward so I don't see the problem. I just can't help :(

I agree - the guy just wants advice. Unfortunately I cannot help either,
