Can you post a photo of your headlights ?

pictures as requested, I think Scooba has answered my question, ie test of the overall adjustment range for halogens at start up.

It looks like you've got there.

FWIW all 3.0Si cars had headlamp washers as standard, but Bi-Xenons were an option. I've had one with them and one without!

The other clue is that there is only one thumbwheel next to the light switch for the instrument panel brightness if the car has Bi-Xenons as they self-level. Cars without Xenons have a second one to adjust the height of the beam.
