Hi, how many owners and can you add the service history details please?

Also, was 'replaced the power steering liquid radiator (which had a leak)' done under the warranty?

Thanks :)

I think the car has had (me included) 5 owners. I'll check that and update the post with service history details. Don't be fooled by the high number though, the BMW garages service history is detailed, and it all proove that the car was always treated nicely, serviced regularly, with no major issues ever occurred, no accidents and is in great shape.

And no, the power steering radiator being just a coil shaped hose (rather than an actual radiator), the warranty company decided it was part of normal wear and tear and not a fault.

EDIT: I'm adding here pics of the service history, original spec order sheet, my latest Technosport invoice when I installed exhaust and fixed the leaking power steering radiator.

I would have thought 5 owners was an average number now, but not high

How many people keep a car over two years these days. 5 over 11 years is pretty good.

1 owner cars are a rarity these days and not a guarantee of being looked after.

Fair enough, not that I'm against wraps I would just prefer to see it in its original colour

The wrap is definitely a good job, Dub Customs are great. It's impossible to notice it's a wrap unless you open the hood or boot, even the door sills are covered. With a special detailing job it would look even more shiny, but I was lazy about doing that!

I would not take it off as it was a 2k£ job, which protects the underneath paint and is good for another 5/6 years. The color is lovely and MUCH nicer than Imola Red (which - sorry, not sorry - looks dull to me) being darker and metallic, so I suppose a buyer should appreciate it and keep it maybe for at least a couple of years and then eventually go back to silver or whatever. Taking it off, while it looks splendid would be a real shame/waste. Just my two cents!

Attaching a few more pics of post wrap. The Jag that is visible in the pics is the forme car of Sam "Seen through glass", has exactly the same wrap and had the detailing job just done that day.

I like the colour , gives the car a fresher look however i do think it hampers sale prospects . Also has silver headrest hoops both before the wrap & after ? They would normally be black
Service history is also a little odd ?
A late ins2 after 3 consecutive ins1 :? & why the gearbox oil change at 66k ? its ins2 was at 63k so should already have been changed 3000 miles earlier :?

I've took a few wraps off and always find damage and cut marks.
Would not buy that purely on this. Paint 4K if any damage to it..

The wrap can go off easily and the car goes back to silver, so I don't see the problem.. I obviously value the great look it gives and the protection aspect. I wouldn't expect the wrap to have been done that terribly as Dub Customs normally wrap cars that cost hundreds of thousand of pounds, and that get often rewrapped several times every year.. I'm sure there's other cheaper/unexperienced wrappers that do damage but not all wraps damage a car (especially if you think that transparent wraps are made to protect the paint work.. what would be the point?). Looks like I've tickled all the wrap haters..

The hoops were silver before wrap and I believe it's the right thing? They are wrapped gunmetal anyway, to better match the wheels (painted gunmetal by the previous owner)

I can't say about the inspections, honestly. The gearbox works smoothly and flawlessly, confirmed by Technosport which is probably the best M specialist garage in London (the owner races E46 M's and owns an M coupe), which was the last garage that inspected the car just a little over one year ago (have the invoice of that, not stamped in the booklet though, as they had no reason to change oils, filters and reset the inspection light). I've asked him to specifically check the gearbox, given than it is my first Z4 M and I've read a lot about the gearbox being stiff in 1st and 2nd gear, the CDV mod etc.. he just smiled at me and said "there's nothing wrong with the gearbox". And he was right: you just need to learn to drive this car and use this gearbox.

My guess is.. as I was told by the dealer that the previous owner (to which they did sell the car just one year before) that he returned the car to buy an SLK automatic because he couldn't be bothered with the manual, he might have thought that a gearbox oil change was necessary and would have smoothened the gearbox, but then he realised it's just supposed to be as it is and realised he needed a more civilised car instead.....

It has lost some hp at 252 as well .. :?

Power is 252 KW, or 338 HP, that's from the original order spec sheet.. anyway, guys.. looks like everybody here is trying hard to help with the sale!

Not at all, my first choice before I came an ///M owner was to get a Silver one like yours but was fortunate to get an Imola one at a great price. Your ///M looks great but with the wrap people will always be in two minds about it. It is about selling your car after all and I truly believe removing the wrap will help your sale.
