Pleasant surprise

Having bought my Zed from a dealer I wanted peace of mind, so using the V5 doc I wrote to the previous owner asking if he wouldn’t mind calling me.
He rang me the next day and confirmed the mileage and told me his 4 year history with the car which was all positive (car was only driven between April and Sept, and even then only every other week as he worked away from home a lot)
Anyway, it turned out that 2 weeks before he traded it in he found an Aux port hidden away on the underside of the dash on the driver’s side! I was unaware of this and I’ve bought a lead and we now have quality itunes on tap. Not sure if this was part of the original car spec or retro fitted? Whether I would have ever found it who knows! :D

The AUX port was standard on all facelift models if I remember correctly, glad you eventually found it

Swiftly I don't think it was on early face lifts as mine don't have one

My roadster did have one but was about 6 months newer than the coupe

Really! ha, that means I must have had it in my previous 2006 plate 2.0 and never noticed - had the car 7 months

Just read this - maybe it wasn't there then, I will never know

I thought all models from 2006 onwards had AUX ports, obviously you must have had one with the flimper spec :P
