iono if i mentioned this, but this was in relation to the first playstation. when trying to install a mod chip, the iron touched the motherboard and it wouldn't work after that.
went to the store, bought another one, swapped the insides, and returned. they did an on-site inspection and it wouldn't turn on and gave the money back.
i'm not sure about the new systems. i'm sure they have stickers, but there are ways around them
