Playlists from iPhone...

Hi all,

So all was working perfectly but for the last 6 weeks or so my playlists now do not appear on my cars screen.

I plug my phone in under the armrest (iPhone 6S +, short lightning USB cable).

I can still access all albums through idrive but not playlists.

Guess what I use more!?

Is there a fix to this yet?

I posted on pistonheads a little while ago and they said Apple should release an update but so far nothing.

Should I be calling BMW?
 
Yes but I have to select it on my iPhone and then I can skip forward / back and I get the track title but no album art.

It plays when connected if I select it on my iPhone. Plus I then get album art.

Where as previously, I could click on playlists on the idrive and scroll through them all and pick which one and then see the list of tracks within that playlist.

I appreciate this is a tad 1st world problems but it's a pain in the arse if I want to change playlists halfway through a journey as I can't unless I stop.
