a Sunday drive to the new forest with Mrs Rally stopped for some photos that I have edited with lightroom, thoughts is it to much?

Looks good!

Depending on what type of shot you're going after, I'd bump up the shadows slightly, or do a stacked exposure to see a little more of the rear of the car.

thanks Neil I bumped up the shadows not sure what a stacked exposure is though, thanks paulgs1000 & srhutch appreciate the comments and thank you marlon I will enter this month,

There goes another month I won't enter then! :D
Great pic

Stack Exposure is when you take multiple shots, all exposed at different areas and combine. Zerene Stacker is a good program.. Best examples are seen with Micro-photography.
Tho not to mean you cant photo-stack larger objects for detail. A trick every Photog enthusiast/professional should know.

24 shots with a Canon 7D for one pic stacked.
