Playing spotify

Any way of playing Spotify in the car ideally being able to control the app? Bluetooth streaming perhaps?
My car has very dated factory sat nav, Bluetooth telephone that doesn't connect to modern phones, cd changer, dsp and is currently fitted with an intravee which obviously only works with apple, I'm using an android phone!

I’ve just bought an Alexa echo for mine. It plugs into the cig lighter and into the aux port, this then streams Spotify using your phone. As I only really listen to music on long journeys in the Z the wires don’t bother me, but did think it could be mounted under the dash quite easily. A friend recommended the Grom Bt3 which can apparently be plugged into the back of the radio and obviously is neater but more work.

I bought an adapter that plugs into the aux port found on the rear of the oe radio. The wires come out beside my seat and I plug in my iphone then I can use my Spotify. Works great. :D

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them all. I don't currently have aux in, one of the only options that wasn't ticked when new. My phone also doesn't have a 3.5mm jack although I think there maybe USB to 3.5mm adapters available.

Just to add to Reamesy's suggestion, I also had one of these which worked fine for music, books etc. I have now got the updated version (bluespeak) which has added phone connectivity for calls as well which also works well with modern phones - Samsung S10 in my case.

Do you have a link for the one that does calls aswell?
Any recommendations for phone mounts?
