Anyone with an S3 had any sucess with streaming audiO?

i had a read in the manual last week, tried everything i though

turned on bluetooth on phone, played a song, click play via bluetooth nothing happened, don't know what setting etc to put the cd player on ?> :headbang:

I have the s3 but havent tried it. I just use a memory stick loaded with my music.

Be good to know if we can bluetooth music over.

I've spent a fair bit of time researching into this and found out that my 2009 iDrive doesn't have the hardware to do it.
However, it should work on yours seeing that you have 2012 car.
Obviously I havent' tried it myself, but I've read that if you go into 'Telephone' and press options, you can turn on Bluetooth audio in iDrive? I can't remember exactly the steps, but it was something along those lines. Give it a go.

I don't have idrive so that my be a problem.

I do have music loaded onto a usb but I also have tunein radio on the s3 and i like to have a listen :)

Assuming you have an aux in you can buy Bluetooth receivers that plug into aux in and receive A2DP signal from the phone
I tried but frankly the sound quality was not good but there are come upmarket receivers out there (pricewise)

I'm considering purchasing either Samsung HS3000 BT headset, which can function as BT receiver plugged into the aux port so I can stream BT audio from the phone. For less than £30, probably not such a bad solution.
Sound quality is good from what I read in reviews?

i thought i could do similar with the iphone cable, so i plugged my charger cable into usb port but nothing happened

lol

will probably just leave it and stick some downloaded tunein on it
