I used this stuff to do my type r alloys. Ended up trying it 3 times and after ine night each time the stuff bubbled up and looked crap. It actually applies very well and looks very good just is not durable at all. Some pictures on my instagram of the process if anybody is interested. I did them black with a gold flake first time for a bronze look then just matt black.

Try frost.co.uk for tins etc, they do their own version which is cheaper. Have done the mirrors in mine to see if I want to go for wrapped ones, will leave it on for the winter before I go the wrapped/painted route. IMO Finish is nowhere near as good as painting or wrapping, but it's perfect to test a look.

I did my bike in it, looks good and the finish was pretty good. Once you've done it a few times its easy to get smooth.

Peeling off after a year wasn't so easy. The thicker the better, as if its thin in any areas its a pain to get off.

Its not massively robust in areas of contact. Any rubbing will cause holes and tears, but everywhere else is fine, and doesn't chip with stones etc.

If that's that's the effect I would leave well alone! Why would you kill the look of the Z4 by flattening the surfaces :scratchhead:

I apologise if this is a members car

I guess it's now to personal opinion.

I have been quoted £650 for a mat black wrap. However it's now confirmed I need new brakes so this is going down the list of priorities :(
