Plastic thing under/on bonnet

Ok, when looking at car today i noticed i only had one plastic thing on one side, there are holes as if there should be 2.

after looking at google images, i cant find any images showing 2, but it seems random to which side you have one.

its right at back of bonet on under side, you can just see it on left of that pic, mines on right. does any one actually have 2?
 
Are you talking about the long thin 'blade' ? It looks like it is designed to aid stopping water getting in where the wipers sweep downwards, if it's on the other side in your right-hand drive car. There would be two sets of holes so that the bonnet is homogenous and cpuld be used on either a LH or RH drive car - manufacturing efficiency.

I've not checked mine though, I'll go have a look now :D
 
ye, its just a blade pointing down, i`ve had few screw / plugs missing on car just though this was another thing lol
 
I've only got one, on the passenger side, so I reckon you should only have one :thumbsup:
 
Never noticed this before so just had a look and mine is on passenger side.
 
I only have one fitted and it coincides with the cabin air intake so I assume it's purely for that.
