Plastic engine undertray loose

Recently got back from our Euro roadtrip - went really well (a separate post with some pics to follow when I get them sorted out this weekend hopefully... 8) ) but now have a couple of issues to sort out on the Z4...

The first one being that the rear end of the plastic undertray that runs from the back of the bumper towards the front axle appears to be loose on the the driver's side, and hanging down a bit (passenger side looks fine) - picture below hopefully:

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of how this is meant to fit? I assume the plastic fits flush underneath the metal tab bit and is attached with a fastener of some kind? And secondly, any thoughts on the simplest way to get access to it - not sure I'll be able to easily reach it without getting under the car, but haven't currently got a jack or axle stands etc... :?

It looks as though the captive nut is still there & it's just the bolt which has fallen out, get one from your dealers & try winding it in-maybe drive up a tall curb or onto some progressively thicker wooden planks to get some space under the car.
Ps, I don't think that's a front axel-it's a steering rack.
Regards

You're missing the 8mm Hex head screw 07147129161..if one is gone best check that the rest are all tight too..:)

Thanks guys - that's really helpful. Presumably I should be able to order the relevant hex head screw from Sopers and have them send it to me?

I'll experiment with getting one wheel up on the curb and see if that gives me enough clearance to get at it...

I was able to locate bolt up on the flat...For the sake of a few pence your local BMW dealer will have them in stock, mine did..:)

Just to say this is all sorted out - cheers for all the help! For reference, it is just possible to reach the screw when on the flat with the front wheels turned towards you - right at the end of my reach though!
