Plastic bubbling on centre console

Anyone seen this before (near the handbrake):




Seems like the lacquer or whatever it is has just bubbled up somehow! I tend to rest my arm here quite a lot while driving so don’t know if that’s damaged it. Anyone know of a repair for this?

Looks to me as if some kind of solvent has been spilt on it. Either that or you have unbelievably caustic sweat

Hi guys .
I had this happen from leaving a air freshner tucked in the netting in the p footwell it was touching the plast on the console .
It bubbled up like this almost like it was a skin on the plastic .
I moved the freshner and just left it as i didnt want to pop the bubbles , a few months on and its not very noticeable almost like it has dryed up .
Not much help but i make sure to not get anything on the plastic .

:lol: Yeah don't sweat much on my arms, having said that it happened over summer so I suspect it might have something to do with sun cream thinking about it. Annoying!
