So I said in my newbie post, have just debadged the side and think it looks nicer. Replaced the roof motor and had her serviced.

Going forward I want to keep it fairly simple, planning on:

Paint brake calipers red (already bought some hammerite and seen the guides cheers!)
M steering wheel is roughed/plastic effect wearing off around the spokes would quite like to get it looking new again, any recommendations welcome!?
M sport 6 speed short shift gear knob, is the m tech website a good place to buy from?


Lastly I have noticed two of the covers for the screws on the interior panels have popped out and cannot find the, one to the left of the drivers seat and one in there behind the drivers door handle.

Would anyone happen to know the part number/ where I could order replacements as it will drive me mad!?

Any advice appreciated!

Hi and welcome

Steering wheel spokes easy Diy. Few write ups on here including one of mine.

Zhp Gear knob from supers or you friendly stealer, eBay or sometimes here.

Cover for screw in trans tunnel is a fiver from main dealer, not sure on the other. Part numbers easy to find on www.realoem.com

off the original posters topic....

but how does the Sopers dealers discount work? i mean i know its a BMW dealer that gives forum discount... what if your not local? do they then apply P&P to any orders placed with the discount? (P&P costs potentially being more than the discount)

i got a 3rd brake light from my local dealer last week for £59....... would i have been better off ordering it from Sopers with a forum discount? would they be able to send it to my local BMW dealer and i just collect it from them as normal? or would they have to add P&P even tho its from 1 BMW dealer to another?

I far as I could ever tell they post it out for next to nothing - always worked out way cheaper than going direct to my local dealer anyhow :thumbsup:

I far as I could ever tell they post it out for next to nothing - always worked out way cheaper than going direct to my local dealer anyhow :thumbsup:

I always contact my local stealer, can normally wangle 10% out of them which can work out cheaper than Sopers.

Vines Redhill were never interested in any form of discount...

not yet had any cause to contact any of Citroen part departments...
 
has anyone used the Mstyle website before?


Thinking of just ordering the gearshift from there if its easiest? As my local BMW place have just offered terrible service in the past.

other people have without issue - whenever I enquired (Several years ago now), I never got a response though...

just use sopers if its OEM and your local dealer is a pain :thumbsup:
 
hmmm will have to ask my local dealers for discount next time i order some parts and just quote that Sopers do and see what kind of response i get :thumbsup: if its a big fat no then ill just contact Sopers and see if it works out cheaper :evil:
