Planning to buy, but confused... need advice from owners

Well, as azroadie mentioned previously, "First, I have a 2003 2.5i and paid about 23,000 2 years ago and it was fully loaded...every add on available except the upgraded radio.", looks like you might have a good deal brewing. Don't know azroadie's milage at purchase but it's always fun and beneficial to negotiate a better price. If it's a dealer, for sure negotiate and be ruthless! Check Kelly Blue book and other sites for valuations. If it's the car you want, don't walk away if you're only $500 apart. Make it happen. Good luck!

If you're only looking to change to the clear side markers...that's super easy. 5 minutes tops....and here's a link to a great vendor.

Another note on the M seats...I'm pretty sure they only became an option on later model years (2005 or maybe even 2006, I'm sure some here knows for sure). So keep that in mind while looking. Happy shopping!!!

Oh that's nothing, a coworker lives roughly a block away! :D But yeah, I'm the 2nd one closest to the office.
I think when I have the Z4 I might wake up an hour earlier, drive up the mountains and back, then go to work :P

Right now I have my eye on a silver 3.0 '03, for roughly $22k. 35k miles, manual, sport pkg, with the awesome red seats (not M seats, but they'll just have to do). It even has a navi, which it's a huge plus for me since I hate putting external add-ons in my car. Just hope they don't sell it before I can buy it.
Do you guys think it's a good value? Also, I'm not used to buying cars, do you think I could negotiate a couple of grand off? How much cheaper than the advertised price have you gotten your car?

I didn't think I'd consider a silver one but it actually looks outstanding with the red seats! I love how it contrasts. Cross your fingers for me!

IMO that is a good deal on yours. But then i got mine through Carmax in Vegas, I paid 28k with 33k miles, manual, sport package, and some other stuff (they also lied and advertised Xenon lights...which I didn't realize they weren't xenons till way later). Anyways, yeah I settled on the non sport non heated seats...I regret it, but all in all the car had the key options I wanted/needed. While I do think the regular seats are lacking in lateral support, it isn't terrible. Unless your screaming around corners at the limits of tire adhesion you will stay in the seat with little problem.

Get in a 2.5i, :driving: , see if you like it, if you do, its a done deal. Dont drive the other ones...you wont miss out. Theres no point in wondering about more power...there will always be something more.
Cheers
