Planning on buying my first Z4

Hi all! I have had a good look through the forum and have found lots of useful info so far. I am hoping to get my first ever Z4 in the next couple of months and was after some hints and tips.

My budget will be around £6.5k and I have started looking on ebay etc. I would like to get the 2.2L as it is cheaper to insure. I seem to be able to get a 04/05 plate within budget. Is this the best bet or better to save up more for a 2.5l? What sort of things do I need to look out for? Are they reliable on the whole?

Theres some well cared for cars on this forum.

If it were me, i'd go 2.5 or 3.0, but sometime this is not possible for insurance reasons etc.

Test drive some cars, be sure what you want and enjoy the process.
