Good looking car, love the red interior. Hmm from the pics the headlights look like the prefacelift 3.0i ones. And the slash cut chrome tips on the exhaust look a bit prefacelift era as well.

when was the facelift done as the car is registered 010606. Its definately the 3.0si engine though as all the paperwork and insurance says so.
 
The facelift was in 2006, AFAIK the facelifts all came with the new style headlights and straight exhaust tips (although I like the older items more :-)). Maybe somewhere in its life the headlights got swapped for cosmetic reasons. Or the image is just fooling us :-) Still very nice car, it will definately bring you lots of smiles per mile :-)
 
Well they dont have the orange repeaters so I think they are facelift. Got me worried now though hope it hasnt been crashed. Looks all good an hpi clear ! :shock:

Note the centre lights with or without the lense. Maybe that's just the difference between xenon and non xenon.

A bit sad but this is the first thing I noticed too. I wonder what exhaust that is.

Car looks awesome. The red always looks ridiculously over-saturated in pics, but's very smart in reality. :)

Hmmm not sure that's correct.
Mines a 2007 car and mine look like what your calling Pre-facelift (see my signature) I've got images the previous owner took on the day he bought the car brand new, so I know there still original.
 
Does your car have halogen headlights? Then I think that's probably whats different. The pics I found are both HID headlights. In the facelift ones the outer light functions as high beam. Halogen headlights don't have the bi-xenon type shutters and need the inner lenses to function as high beams. On the prefacelift ones, the inner lense is flash to pass, bi-xenon high beams works on outer lense. Haven''t looked into halogen headlights though as most Z4's over here, at least the 3 litre ones have xenon stock.
 
Red sport seats look epic, the only colour better than mine. My lamps look the same as yours and mines a 56, your back end is def a facelift, so I shouldn't worry.
 
Thanks guys. I did go in a little blind as I only went to see it to rule out the roadster, didnt plan on falling for it like I did so didnt check the options etc .....but I dont care ...I love it anyway !
