Lately I have been just using wheel cribs built from wood 2x4 that allow me to use central jacking points and then place the wheels on the wooden cradles ... cheap and pretty easy. Built them to allow multiple heights to interlock sections to build height and they are very secure one in place. The trickiest part is having to extend the jack with blocks to allow it to lift higher but lift it securely, but there is always the sturdy cradles below each wheel if something goes wrong ... you have to go slow and use your head. The best thing about this is it allows full access under the car without any obstructions from the front, rear or sides.
However, i've been looking at this lately which will lift using all 4 jack points and get it up pretty quickly and safely..... just trying to weigh out the cost/benefits. They do block access from the sides of the cars which is a bummer, but they will store neatly hanging on the wall of the garage.

I have also been considering this ... Better height, flexibility and accessibility ... but more expensive and a little more storage space required. Still gets car higher in the air and can limit lifting height in low ceiling environment.
