PIRELLI P ZERO 255/30R19 91Y rear tyre

Hello.

I have installed two pirelli run flat tyres at the rear of my Z4 2013 2.0. I am sure the denomination of the tyre is correct bug somehow the space between the alloy wheel and the wall of the tyre seems to be excessive and it looks like the wheels were too small for the tyre. Does anyone have pirellis on their car? Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any help.

It's how they all are with 255-30 on a 9j rim
Top late now but you should have gone 255-35 :( more comfort, less arch gap & better wheel protection

I have large 315/35/20 p zeros on my X5 rears fitted yesterday and thought the same thing.

Ive always found Pirelli to be generous in sizing :? i recently had 245 35 18s on 8.5j 107 rears , looked like 255 35 :? & the front 225 40 18 Pzero looked almost oversized , the latest version has "HUGE" rim protector & lots of sidewall .
