Pinout / WDS help please.

I’m nearly at the end of the track conversion on the e85 3.0i
I’m fixing up the data loggers and the nearest can-bus enabled module is the airbag controller, so I want to tap in to the bus there. But, it would seem since the last BMW intellectual property purge, there’s no schematic info on the web any more and I can’t find anyone selling WDS.

Would some kind soul be able to provide a pinout for the 2 connectors on the airbag module - or point me to where I can get hold of the WDS - so I can find the can-bus.

Personally I'd just pickup the canbus at the back of the instrument cluster. You're looking for the yellow/red (CAN H) and the yellow/brown (CAN L) twisted pair.

what info are you wanting as some run on I-bus and others on K-bus

@Martyn - I think I will probably end up doing that as it seems from WDS that the airbag module isn’t on the can-bus, just the K-bus.

Yeah, as above, it seems the module is in k-bus only. I need data such as steering angle, throttle position, brake pressure etc.

Oooh. It can be grabbed from a connector near the clutch pedal. That’s much easier. The logger is mounted just behind the boot opening into the storage/CD/Nav compartment. So I can just rundown under the centre console to the clutch pedal!
