Pinnacle Detailing, Witney

It’s not quite finished yet, but just thought I’d posted a few photos of the progress on my MR this week. I would genuinely love to be able to have put in weeks worth of effort on my car, but sadly time, and job, and wife, don’t permit. So instead, I decided to use a company I’ve spent some time around, and got to know their work through friends and people in my area. Fraser and Lewis (Brothers) and absolutely fastidious when it comes to detailing and the processes of restoring the look of cars. Attached are a few initial photos as they’re halfway through the work, but suffice to say I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw it today. Those who we’ve met from here so far will know how much of a transformation this has already given the car too. Full review and detailed photos to come when they finish 👍

[ref]Wyldie85[/ref], cheers man, honestly, I was grinning like a small child when I saw it 😂 the guys wouldn’t show me the engine bay and things either as the clear vinyl on the bonnet was setting, as they didn’t want to “ruin the surprise” 😁

Seriously, I would recommend them to anyone, and they’re fairly reasonable on price when you consider hourly rate and materials.

Will get full pics up when I pick it up (hopefully in the dry 🤞)

Looks lovely!

Would you be able to share the price? I'm keen to get mine detailed at some point - Whitney isn't too far from me....

[ref]Ed Doe[/ref], will let you know the final bill and list of what they’ve done when I pick it up 👍👍

Thanks by the way! I cannot understate their work 😁

First half of the photos of the finished article, more to come along with a full review.

What can I say, and where to start... I picked the car up last night. Here are all of the before and after shots (in a terrible order, I appreciate).

Lewis and Fraser (brothers) have been running the business for three years now, having been detailers separately for other companies for quite a period of time before that.

They were amazing throughout. I have got to know them through some friends work, and also been watching their work on social media with awe. I contacted them around the time I bought the car, knowing I would need to book 4 weeks in advance, dropped by with the car in week 1 so Fraser could take a good look over the car and we could come to agreement on a to-do list; really helpful and in no way trying to pressure the sell of “extras”.

So I will grab the invoice later and put up a photo of the itemised list of what was done, but here’s a list of the main bits:

-Exterior initial clean
-wheels off outside and wheel bay clean
-wheels cleaned all over outside whilst off car
-full hood clean
-full exterior motorised polish
-wax afterwards
-hood treatment and protection
-wheels off inside on ramp
-wheels bay detail and dress
-wheels waxed (although really need full acid dip and refurb)
-engine bay clean (without water or steam clean)
-engine bay detail
-back box and exhaust tip detail and polish
-interior clean and decontamination
-interior leather (with all extended parts) stripped back of all surfactants
-interior leather nourishment and protection
-interior detail
-front 1/3 of bonnet, front wings, and leading surfaces of mirrors PPF wrapped
-///M badges replaced with my own supplied (NB: the photos show the right hand and boot badges fitted the wrong way round, Fraser and Lewis swapped them to correct positions when I collected, leaving perfect finish)

I can not describe the grin on my face when I collected the car. The whole lot came to just over £900 but I would say this was worth every single penny, and I would not have even dreamed of asking for discount on this figure.

There must have been 40 hours go in to the car for this work, and it is all impeccable. The guys are superb, and I would recommend them to anyone 😊

Hope you enjoyed reading, what is my first big forum review 😁

A few final photos I realised I missed 👍

Cheers Josh - the results and list of work make it look pretty decent value to be honest - the car looks stunning!

I think I'll have to look at an early spring visit to get the car all shiny for summer next year ;)

Cheers guys, I’m so glad other people think it was money well spent too. [ref]Ed Doe[/ref], honestly they’re awesome, they have a really good Facebook page too where they show a lot of their work.

Wow that looks stunning mate
