Despite not being long running member (yet), I'd got quite into the "vibe" on here... after returning from the lakes I've had a bit of a busy/stressful month so I haven't been about at all. We couldn't have had better weather up there as you'll see in the pictures, 7 days of sunshine, IN MARCH!

The Zed hasn't been forgotten though, fear not, my dash trim is currently away being covered in real carbon fibre and I've fitted a new steering wheel and the ZHP gearknob.

A few shots from my trip anyway:

The lodge me and the mrs stayed in:

Nothing like a bit of a treat upon arrival :D

And we found a few local lovely pubs

Having not had the car long, and previously having taken a very low and well tuned Renault Sport Clio up there, I was quite frankly amazed at the capabilities of the zed. Really really awesome.

So much so I've booked a track day for the 7th of June. :driving:

great pics - think your better half would appreciate you getting a wind deflector, though

Thanks guys. We really did have an awesome time. Not to mention the zed being awesome to drive.

I did have a perspex wind deflector but it looked awful so was removed. I'll be looking at getting a proper wind deflector (gimp style) very soon.

Didn't think of entering the picture in the May picture thread, good idea though, thanks!

Nothing like looking across to the passenger seat and seeing a ball of madly whipping hair where your missus head used to be.
