Could some one take a picture of there front lollipop powerflex polybushes they have fitted to there car please

I have some fitted on mine and i feel the purple inner is purtruding the black out part too much on the wishboine side and i would like to see how others are.

Thanks

If no one can post pictures can anyone tell me if the purple bush sits flush with the black bush or does it stick out?

Guido - Did you remove a cross brace? Assume you have some other braces/ARB setup which meant this was surplus, or is it just that you hadn't refitted it yet when the pic was took?

I just hadn't refitted it :)

Never drive without the reinforcement plate.

I don't replace the bolts though every time the brace comes off. TIS says to replace them (probably because they're torqued+ angle tightened).

I hope this helps you out.

The purple inner bush sticks out very slightly

Thank you very much

Do you find the purple bush ever comes out more than that?

I think mine is further out that that on both sides for some reason, may ask the garage to have a look at it for me.

Thanks

Mine looks like Guido's. When I was fitting them, I found the last bit of install was the hardest bit, in other words getting the purple inner to mate properly with the black bit. If you tried to fit the bushes together off the car (as a practice), you'll find they are almost flush as in this picture, and that is how they should also look when fitted on the car.

I took a picture just now:

This is how it sits after 4 years.

Never had any problems.

....yes I know, out of focus

Mine look the same as guido as well. I think that the purple part does not fit as far inside the black part once they are on the wishbone arm compared to if you trial fit them before as the wishbone arm probably expands the bush very slightly.

Do you know what torque they should be as I couldnt find any info on this when reinstalling the brace.
