Pics yesterday evening + Painted Calipers

Took a few snaps of my Zed yesterday evening as I arrived home from work. A good mood after 100 miles of roof down driving.





- got my newly gold painted calipers in too!



The more I look at the E89, the more I think that there's nothing currently on the market for less than 100l that looks as good all round.

I also note the 20i's have different calliper designs now, which look a bit more presentable. I understand my brakes need to be larger, but they could have done something to make them presentable;

No, windows are standard. All BMWs are slightly tinted anyway I think.

They look great. Did you paint them in situ? Brush or spray? What paint? Yep, you've guessed it, I fancy doing mine!

Simple. In situ with a small brush. Gold spray hammerite, sprayed into the lid of the can and painted on. I did the hubs the same, except using silver. Two coats, 20 minutes! 8).
I got the idea of gold from the new 6 series...
