Pics from my brecons hoon 13/1/13

Just got round to getting my photos from my Brecons Hoon on the 13/1/13. After an overwhelming uptake to the offer of a drive across the Brecons I headed out on my usual route with just myself as company :( but still had an awesome day with clear skies and clear roads.
I have never seen a car so caked in salt(it was flaking off my alloys at the end of the day) and the salt on the exhaust looks like it has been ceramic coated (which i think actually looks quite good).

It was a whole bunch of roads mainly: the road that goes through Penderyn also the Black mountain pass A4069 and some south of Treorchy.

The plate is because my name is Aston.... hopefully one day id like to put in on my Vanquish S :P

The morning was quite cold but bright especially on the mountain pass so the engine was pulling so strong and the exhaust note was the best i've heard from her yet. Strange thing with the M exhaust the sound does seem to vary quite a lot depending on conditions.
 
OH and the first pic is actually the Penderyn distillery not just a random shed. Great place for a wee dram!

Prob about 200 in total (and stumbled across The Plough Inn - Llandeilo a pub that served me up one the best Sunday roasts i've had since moving to Wales) :thumbsup:
 
Great photos and not jealous of those roads at all! Love the engine performance and note in cold, crisp weather :)
 
that looks like a fantastic day out plan one for about 3 months time so i get plenty of notice wont book any work up ,i will be there :driving: :thumbsup:
 
Quality pictures...nothing better than having a motor that you can take out for a blast in such a destination!
 
Brilliant pictures!! Makes me want to go for a hoon when I'm back in Wales visiting the parents at the end of the month :D
Sadly I'm introducing the new lady to my parents ... so none of them will appreciate it if I bugger off up the Brecons!!
