I've decided to sell my 1/12 model z4 now the real thing has gone so it's up for sensible offers...

The car is absolutely mint as it's been either wrapped up in it's original box or on display in a cabinet. It is silver/grey with real red leather interior, grey carpets and black fabric real action folding hood. All parts of the car are fully detailed including cabin, engine bay and underside. All doors, boot ,bonnet open. Steering works and even comes with scale BMW lifestyle cases that fit in the boot. It is lhd as that's all they made! :roll: I bought it direct from a main dealer in Germany and haven't seen one available for sale -at least in silver/grey- since!

The downside is that there is a tear in the cardboard box about an inch or so long and that's about it. Inside the box is the original styrofoam inserts and paper the car was packaged in.

I thought I'd offer it on here first as even if you've seen one before, these are like hens teeth and are for real enthusiasts. This is the best example of the z4 you will find. Pm me for or post here for details.

I've seen these go on ebay for £140, and I've also seen them go for £300, just depends who's bidding at the same time :P

Plus this is the rarer silver/grey one - common ones are the blue, or red versions.

Thanks for the positive comments. I hope the photos go some way to show how detailed the model actually is. I couldn't beleve it when I bought it how accurate it was! (Panel gaps included! :wink: ) unfortunately the electric roof motor is on the blink so it's manual override for now! :P

For those who asked I'm based near Cardiff. As for how much I want for it, being unashamedly honest, as much as I can get. As I traded my z4 in last week I've sold a few bits and pieces on here to other members and was, I feel pretty fair with prices but I know how rare this is and sounds like a few others do too. It's not going to lose any value. If anything, it'll go up as these were discontinued a few years ago and good 1/12 scale models dont come cheap so I'm not going to give it away as I'm sure no-one else here would. Saying that it is for sale and if the right offer catches me it will go.

Hope I don't sound too mercenary! I'd rather it went to a z4 enthusiast than a dealer. And it would make the ultimate Xmas present to a loved one (or yourself!) :lol:
