Well just setting off to pick up my new car. Not getting it until tomorrow afternoon but got a fair bit of travelling before that.

2hours by bus tonight. Flight from Inverness to Luton tomorrow morning and then 3 hours by various trains! 15:30 tomorrow!

Then :driving:

I actually enjoy the travel when getting a new car. It's just exciting and you know it's well worth the travel.

Looking forward to seeing the pics :)

Will be a great adventure! I flew to Belfast to get mine. Was a bit of a nightmare thanks to a certain bank calling me on my way there to tell me they'd suspended my account indefinitely, plus the fact I managed to drain the (already weak) battery within 45 mins of getting the car, and again on the ferry back to the UK (the ferry's motion had the alarm going the whole journey) but looking back it was an amazing adventure :D

I hope my pick up goes smoother than that Markos!

And yes gannet one very long drive home!

I am looking forward to it though. I will post some pictures when I can :D

By the time you get home you will have driven more miles in your Zed than some Forum members have over several years!

Given the drive you have I will give you until 12 noon on Sunday for the pics. :D

Enjoy :driving:

Always a buzz & tingle on car collect day :) Was totally thrilled with my 100 mile drive home :driving:
i'm into week 4 now & still find myself lifting the bonnet just to stare at what BMW created
Sure you will enjoy it all but for now here's a peep

Reminds me of my Aberdeen -> Southampton -> Hull -> Aberdeen fetch.

Hope the weather holds up - Enjoy

Wow, I was up in Fort William all last week on holiday in the Lochs and Glens hotel the (Highland Hotel) we went to Spean Bridge on one of the trips and also Inverness, your scenery is amazing with the snow still on the tops of the mountains, and the twisty roads will be a dream to drive in your new car, enjoy the trip back, it will be a lot quicker for you, we left at 6.45 yesterday morning and got home at 9.15 last night (on a coach) had one numb bum
