Hi everyone, first post but long time reader - great forum!
I have wanted a z4 for since they came out, I fell in love with the coupe when I first saw pictures of it and have intended to by one ever since - I'm not really sure why it's taken so long!
I started looking seriously about 3 months ago and last weekend finally found the ideal one. I'm 24, and in truth could have got one sooner but it's been difficult setting budget and being practial about running costs etc.
Initially I looked at the roadster and coupe knowing the coupe was what I really wanted... but for the price of some of the low mileage coupes it wasn't much more of a push to the E89. After a couple of test drives in that I was convinved that's what I'd be heading for... but I decided to keep the money in my pocket (I was oh so close to buying an ex demo white 2.3i E89 with 326 alloys and only 2.5k miles on the clock but decided one step at a time!).
So back down to reality I started browsing roadsters again (Ideally 2.5l) and then all of a sudden last week my dream coupe appeared.
2007 si coupe, midnight blue, champagne nappa interior, little over 12k miles.
This week is dragging so slowly at work, but I'm looking to a four day weekend to play with it! I'll be sure to post some pictures, it was tricky to find pictures of a midnight blue model when the car came up so I'd imagine some people may be interested to see it.
I'm based in Cheltenham btw - looking forward to adding to the z4 population as there don't seem to be too many round here!
