I have recently sold my Rover 3500 V8 P6 classic car, and to replace it, i have bought this! I am hoping to use it more than i did the Rover, and get it back to its former glory. It has covered less than 85,000 miles and i will be the 4th owner in its 20 year life. It is in pretty mint condition, and better still, i got it for £300!

Result. More pictures once i get it back to mine.

The car was re-shelled in about 1989 after a smash. The guy who did it kept enough of the original parts to keep the original plates on it, so he rebuilt it, wax-oiled everything, then used it as a weekend toy. It has averaged less then 4000 miles a year. The bloke i am buying it from knows the fella who rebuilt it and always wanted first dibs if it was up for sale. He bought it about 4 years ago, but never really used it due to starting a family etc etc. It has now run out of Tax and MOT and it needs a little tlc, but for £300, its the steal of the century.

Its been a long time since i had a FWD car......

Nice - Same year plate as the Orion Injection Ghia I had new at the time. They were oh so quick compared to even the 1600i Few survided crashes I guess....

Will you be getting the shell suit and gold chain for the correct period look while driving it??

This mean the Z4 has sold?

RS tubby, not sure I could do it. Any old car in that category has to be transformed into a track prep'd monster for me to like it. The only exception i can think of is someone i knew that owned a Talbot Lotus Sunbeam. That had such a classic rarity that I could imagine myself owning it.
Still after all my rambling... 300 quid!!! I probably would buy it :D :D

The Z is still safe and sound. I have bought the RS Turbo to take the pressure off the Z a little, as i'm doing loads of mileage (for me) at the moment and want to keep it low. I wanted this car as it is in such original condition, the seats are nice, the right alloys, the correct exhaust, plus it also comes with a shed load of spares.
I put a new battery in it toady, and it started on the 4th attempt, not bad considering it hasn't been started since Oct 2007! I'm looking forward to having some fun in this car, as i haven't driven anything FWD or lightweight for a long time!

Thanks for the comments folks!!!

The Turbo is now Taxed, has a new MOT and new Yokohama tyres with lots of grip! So what am i doing..............? Thats right, putting it up for sale as i fancy getting a Cherokee Jeep!
