Hi all,
I've been visiting this forum religiously everyday to learn as much as possible about the Z4 and to be able to make a more informed decision on buying one....or not. I'll take the chance to thank you all for sharing all this information!
I've now taken the plunge and put a deposit on a 2007 2.0i Sport Roadster. I know, I know, 2.0...but it's my first sports car, well, it isn't, it's my first sports car in 15 years, so I wanted to go easy to start with. Plus it's gonna be a daily driver so I need the lower MPG.
It has 97k miles on the clock, and I will be paying £3800 for it. Big service in March, MOT for 12 months, Full service history, not BMW though (just the first two services) and 3 months warranty. The car is mint inside, with just a little, barely visible scuff on the rear bumper. Roof works perfectly and test drive, even though limited, didn`t raise any flags.
Give me your honest opinion if you think this might be a good deal. Truth is, with the same age/mile/condition ratio, there was only a couple of slightly better deals but these were 300 miles away from me. Plus, I absolutely loved the outside colour, interior and wheels combination on this one.
Please let me know if you think I'm going for a good deal, and if by any chance you've seen this car around, (or you've owned it, lol) let me know any past history you might be aware of. Checked previous MOT history and again didn't raise any red flags.
I've added a couple of pictures below, please feel free to comment!
