Not the best looking car in the world, but for the money I cant complain.

Has:

CD Player (option)
Cruise
MFSW
Parking Sensors
Remote Central Locking
Wood Trim
Climate Control
FSH
96k
2 owners from new

Quite pleased with it, very clean all round one or two very small niggles but a bargain me feels!

Certainly seems to share a lot of the same parts as the zed, which is odd considering its 6 years older, in a much cheaper package. Drives like new!

Had one of these myself back in 07 for a year in black. Was a good little car to be fair. Good choice

Thanks guys, had to get something that was a "classic" so as not to waste the remainder of my insurance, this fits nicely - cheap to buy, no change to insurance and will be perfectly fine as a runaround

Shouldn't take you long to have all that "wood" hidden behind some 3M carbon fibre vinyl wrap from ebay (took me under an hour to do all the crappy grey plastic in mine) :P

It isn't pretty to look at but you'll find it's pretty well balanced and handles surprisingly well when you push it. If anyone asks, it's a light weight coupe (at least compared with the equivalent E46 saloon) :D

I've the final facelift model of 320d compact with the common rail diesel engine and stiffer suspension. I find it really responsive and actually quite fun to drive without carrying much risk of me losing my licence. Best of all it was really cheap to buy and really cheap to run

My dad quite likes the wood, it certainly is different. If it was a lighter wood I would certainly be following your advice!

Yea spot on not the best looking but really well balanced, handles superbly and drives so smoothly. Haha I will bare that in mind.

I'm looking for some facelift rear lights for it to replace the ugly IS200 ones and may change the wheels but nothing over 16s to keep the handling good..

I think the diesels are superb cars, I would recommend them for anyone who is a commuter.

Totally agree, cheap as chips to buy (under £2k) and hopefully will be cheap to run too!
