Picked it up!

Hey guys and gals,

So, I finally picked it up today. Blue m40i.

First impression is that it feels much more planted than my previous 35is. The engine is very responsive even in comfort mode. Power delivery is so smooth.

Did the software update when I got home which I understands adds Apple maps to the hud, but not waze!?!?
That would be very useful.
Haven’t tried it with Google maps.

I love it.

Dealer said that maybe in update next year they may add Apple digital key, but I doubt it.

The seating position is lower than my previous zed.

Any tips I should be aware of?

Like a lot of BMW new designs,at first a bit of a turn off,few months down the line they have grown on you.Looks stunning in that Blue

Haha. Well my only concern with that is that sports + allows for quite a bit of slip which in London would mean an accident.
What’s the benefit of individual of the standard sports + setting though?

One feature my 35is had which this car doesn’t is remote garage door opening.

Sport mode (not Sport +) makes for quicker throttle response and the engine/exhaust louder.
It’s a good mode to use without it becoming a bit twitchy.

What is the point in setting individual to all sports + ? you could just use sports +. I've got my individual to all sports plus except suspension that's in comfort so I can choose that on rougher roads.
