Pick up my Z4 on Sunday

Been kicking around on here for a few weeks bugging people with questions etc. but as I've finally found one, thought I'd say a proper hello!

Put a deposit on this on Tuesday night, and I pick it up Sunday afternoon :D

Will be very different coming from my last pride and joy, a RenaultSport Clio 182. Going to have to be very gentle to start with otherwise I'll end up facing traffic on roundabouts!

ZHP Gearknob
White 3rd Brake Light w/new washers and springs (one on the car has cracked as is common
New Roundel for the front

Also an M8 Spline drive ready for splitting the 108's as they are shagged and need refurbing and a 17mm sleeved socket so as not to damage them once they're nice and shiny!

First plans other than the above are a damn good clean and detail (just got myself a DAS 6 machine polisher) and paint the calipers silver (nice and OEM!)

Will start a wee project thread when I get it :)

If you don't mind me asking, how much? I'm currently in the market for a similar model, so trying to get an idea of prices :driving:
 
Lol it won't happen. Never kept a car 100% standard!

Will be debadging, stubby also ordered. And looking into clear rear brake lights.

Em, yeah... Didn't take long...
 
Lol! Most gutting point is my NCB doesn't mature until the 12th, so my mothers having to drive it home on a day insurance policy and I can't legally drive it until a week on Tuesday!

Ah well, time to split the wheels, get them refurbed and bolt them back together I guess :rofl:

Welcome. Lovely looking car. It's not the mods etc you need to worry about, it's the addiction to this forum. My Missus keeps catching me having a look and is becoming really mardy about it... You can't win! I could understand it if it was porn!! :lol:

Oh, it's not just me that has happened to then... phew! We're off to look at an X3 for my wife today, so she's feeling a lot more BMW friendly at the moment. Happy Days! :thumbsup:
