Hi GeeMan,

Welcome, i'm pretty new too but heres my take on things...

Bluetooth I think I read its about a £200 retrofit option.
MP3 connection on mine is in the glove box.

Youll love it compared to the type R, the Z4's are a bit more "robust"/solid.

Kind Regards

Gareth

Glad to have another coupe member on here, and :bmwvhonda:
MP3 connectors are often found on a small dash panel. The panel is below the heater switch panel, and above the ash tray - you can't see them from the seats.

Hi and welcome nice looking Zed,since you used to the traffic light GP it will be no different in the Zed

Hi all

Just paid deposit on a 2007 Z4 3.0si Coupe with 24k miles on it

I'm changing from a new shape Civic Type R - fed up of spotty teenagers trying to race me at traffic lights! Had a couple of TTs before that but this will be my first BMW...

Not too sure what extras are fitted but the website listing states CD changer, Heated Seats, Sun protection glass and Comfort pack (not too sure what that is but it has cup holders, rear PDC, auto dimming rear view mirror, multi function steering wheel...) It says standard items are Remote Control Alarm, Anthracite Roof Lining, Auto-Dim Interior Mirror, Elec Fr Seats + Driver Memory, Headlamp Washer System, Rain Sensor, Automatic Air Conditioning, M-Sports Suspension, M Steering Wheel, M Sport Seats

Had been de-badged (not sure why as it isn't a diesel!) so dealer is re-instatting the boot badge

Couple of queries for when I pick it up on Thursday ...

Where is the mp3 connector located? Didn't notice this and its meant to have one fitted?
MFSW has voice activation button on it but the car is not bluetooth prepped - how much would it be get BMW integrated bluetooth retro-fitted ? (ball park figure anyone?)

cheers

First congratulation on your find and purchase!

I had an 2008 Z4 3.0is before my 35i The Aux input should be under the dash on the right hand side of the radio just check below. On my 2008 I just plugged my iPot in there, however, I had to charge it on my computer.

As for your Bluetooth, I don't know. On my M3 year 2002 I installed a Motorola Bluetooth. Yo best check with BMW as to possible installation and price.

Cheers,

Rolf-Dieter

Welcome...

Would prob be cheaper and better to fit an aftermarket BT kit; such as a parrot kit.. imho if you dont have a nav screen those would be 100x better as you could see who is calling you.

Hope your enjoying your new motor. :driving:

As a coupe owner you'll have to learn to make allowances for AlanJ, he gets a bit 'overtired' at this time of the month.
