Piano black interior trim E85 E86 immaculate condition

Interior trim for the E85 and E86 in piano black gloss. Three pieces in total, dash trim centre, light switch surround and centre console surround. In immaculate condition, not a scratch to be seen. Bought with the intention of replacing the silver trim in my Coupe but never got round to it.

Struggling to set an appropriate price as trims in this condition don't appear often (been watching the forum and fleabay for a few months and nothing to compare too) . I'll start at £250 ONO and see what feedback I get :poke:

Collection from Midlands preferred but happy post as I've had a few people asking. Postage will be approx £15 due to awkward shape and postage materials.

Also listed on fleabay so please check my feedback rating.

You're actually advised against that in the forum rules :poke:

All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread (not by email or PM). Once a deal is agreed you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalise payment details etc. We insist on this rule because we need to see all the negotiations to be able to mediate a solution to a dispute

Yes but in other sales threads it's all kicked off because people either have or haven't sent PMs.
In this case I was seeing it as a way to have a discussion with the seller, without people who appear not to be interested in the article for sale, pitching in with 'advice'.
What you don't know about, won't hurt you :wink: :D

In this case though, it appears the complaint about it being an auction would not stand up against the forum rules?
 
It doesn’t appear as an auction to me.

The seller is asking £250 for the item. Obviously people can offer less but surely if someone offers the full £250 it’s theirs ?

The trim is genuine OEM black piano trim and not sliver dash tarted up.
 
I thought I'd complied with forum rules by offering in the thread!!! Obviously there is a bit of a difference in interpretation of said rules within the membership-healthy discussion for those who haven't read the rules and clarification for everyone.

Everything is open to interpretation. Everything!

Hypothetically given a scenario where someone offered £200 by PM and the OP agrees.... Then another different member says on this post, he will take for full asking price? Just leads to confusion.

Unless an item has little or no interest I would personally avoid PM. Again thats my opinion!

Come on now enuff_zed this is a forum? You can hardly expect a for sale section to be purely sale based. I think it's health to have other 'advise' or random opinions made regarding the sale? :lol: :rofl:

I think you have bud. But I would say, if OP is looking for £250 then £150 might be pushing it! But age old saying... you don't ask, you don't get!
