Following the catalogue of incidents 2 weeks ago (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20411), I have managed to obtain some grainy images of the car the hit my Z's rear bumper.

Unfortuantely, the images are very grainy and the reg plate cannot be made out. Are there any photo whizzes here that could manipulate the image as so i can see the reg number. i would be eternally grateful for any help that could be offered :D

Cheers

Matt

if the image is too fuzzy it may be impossible. attach it to a PM for me and ill take a look.

i take it you have the reg already? is it a question of making it more apparent on the picture?

It is an image where the plate is fuzzy and unreadable but you can just make out the individual characters.

I will pm you when I get home. Not much hope but thought it was worth the ask before I look to buy a replacement bumper :-(

I have access to a program that will likely improve the image dramatically. If all else fails let me know.

Just a point. You may be able to get the reg No off the pic by enhancing it, but you won't be able to use it as proof in a court because you would have tampered with it.

Not technically true... I believe it depends on who does it, how it's done, and what type of evidence it is used as....

bung it this way and I'll see what I can do.

Cheers all. Will forward on when I gat home from work.

Like I said probably clutching at straws anyway as it is 2 weeks on and I had stated at the time I could see no damage. If I can get the image I am relying purely on honesty.
