Photos of Z4s with OE Aero Parts - Sills or Bumpers

Well far from derailing my original wanted advert, delighted to say that I have secured a second hand OEM set of Aero side skirts. Did a deal with another forum member, who was selling his Aero equiped car.... and made a new friend in the process, a pleasure working with you on this :thumbsup: It's taken a while to sort as it involved him sourcing a set of OEM side skirts and getting them sprayed and fitted to his car, but we got there.
Skyer was my back up plan, but with carriage, import duty etc. it's going to cost at least what a second hand set goes for.... if you can find them :D
Thanks everyone for bumping my original wanted ad, and keeping it at at the front of everyones mind here. Much appreciated :thumbsup: I will post a photo on this thread when fitted.
 
At last!!! So stoked to finally get them fitted!! Was actually a lot more straightforward than I thought it was going to be!! Definitely about 6% faster too :rofl:

Did you use the Tiger seal around the outside edge and the 3M tape inside or the other way round ?
 
I wasn’t that precise. It’s all acting as an adhesive but fixed the majority by tiger seal. The small 3M pads hold instantly while the tiger seal goes off.

Having removed one before to fix a rusting boot, I can say the tiger seal holds like a bugger!

(slight misalignment between front wing and aero bumper on the last two picture adjusted meanwhile by placing a new bumper bracket).

I’m selling the front and rear aero bumpers if you want to build out the full kit.

My plan is to stick with just the Aero Skirts for now and see how I feel about going for bumpers when I've lived with them for a while. I've looked at your advert several times over the last couple of weeks. Tempting, but for now I'm just going to enjoy the car as it is.
