I'll post some photos with descriptions of my country here. There are many tourists coming to Slovenia, from UK also, so some of you guys might be interested
I'll start with most recent.
This weekend we visited a cave named Babja jama (baba is a derogatory term for a woman, in old language also a term for some kind of a witch, so the name is kind of Woman's cave or Withch's cave). It is located close by a small town Most na Soči where an artificial lake on the Soča river lies, needed for a hydro power plant. Some my remember I posted some pictures of this lake already before on this forum, of course with a Z4 on them
Babja jama was also an old religious sanctuary. Just in front of it there is a railway bridge, dating in early 1900's, built by Austrohungarian. And below that bridge there is some beautiful scenery of the Soča river. This is a very scenery railway from Jesenice to Nova Gorica, can recommend a train trip here.
A look from above it all. A railway and the main road between Tolmin and Nova Gorica is seen from here.

The entrance to the cave

A section of the railway bridge. This bridge lies between 2 tunnels.
