Not sure about a book but photobox are pretty good. Used them quite a lot for various different things.

I upload to Snapfish - use the site as a backup rather than a printing service.

Having seen you're an Apple user, I seem to remember that iPhoto used to have an option to print to a photo book directly from within the app - it may have changed these days because I've not looked for the option but the results were brill when I used to use them

I’ve used Apple’s book option a few times, excellent results.

I’ve used Apple photo book but I believe they are stopping that service at the end of September.
