Hi all

Ive been pondering this since i got my z4.. and i still cant figure it out.

Ive got the microphone near the rear view mirror (possible retrofit), and the telephone button on the cd player - but i cant find anywhere to connect my phone!

Any ideas how to use this?

That's an after market kit by the looks. You must have some extra buttons somewhere (non BMW) unless they have removed half the kit.

Cant find any anywhere.

There is a wire going from the mic into the rear view mirror unit.

Is there any easy way to trace where this goes?

Alternatively is there a simple way to fit bluetooth without rewiring everything

Thats the mic for the standard Bluetooth system. Don't know if all cars had them or only cars equipped with Bluetooth....

So that means you definitely don't have factory Bluetooth

Its the plastic trim around the steering wheel
